Hi, welcome to the Singapore's first swimming coaches corner, a place where swim coaches can share all their experiences with regards to swimming coaching, their pleasant experience and unpleasant ones also. recently I came across a complaint from a fellow coach citing the remarks made by one of the parents in the following paragraph:

Hi to all,

As a Swimming Coach today is not an easy task to face all matter arising.

I've received an unhappy parent that complaint about her children Swimming lessons.
I wish to take this opportuntity to share with our groups.
We may take this as a Case Study to improve our communication skills and others.

What i did was to console her at the first instint. And have a 2 way communication with
her to further understand the big pictures. But don't jump into conclusion.
After i have all the pros & cons, i have an answered to this matter.

Take this as a case study, so that with this scenerio, we have better solution and move on.

As per our conversation, I am looking for a goodcommitted coach for my three children.My older son is 7 and is a very good swimmer I needsomeone to improve his speed and technique.My twins have only been blowing bubbles for the lasteight months with the coach they have had. He isproved very ineffective in teaching them even thebasics.thanks for all your help.Hear from you soon.
